Narrator kills it
In all fairness, I could only listen to 5 minutes of this book because the narrators voice is really aweful. Imagine a robotic and nasal version of Ben Stein in Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.
The 5 minutes of content I did hear was unimpressive, and leaned toward a very negative view of manipulation, using the word “abusive” and other negative adjectives repeatedly.
If nothing else, it was uncreative writing. I have a hard time seeing it improve.
I’m giving the story and overall ratings 3 stars only because I didn’t listen to the rest.
