Brilliantly Funny and So Clever
This book is the perfect holiday brain candy. I have read many queer novels, but this is hands down the best one I have read. The story is engaging, the characters are believable, diverse,and charming; the dialogue is endlessly entertaining. My only disappointment was to find that this is the author’s only novel! Please write more books, Lizzie! Brava for Make You Mine This Christmas!

Excellent!!!!!
Absolutely one of the most enjoyable stories I have ever listened to! Laugh out loud funny, clever dialogue, and a magnificent performance by Helen Keeley- who is now one of my favorite narrators. Her brilliant narration brings every scene to life and adds so much dimension to each character. This masterpiece is a wonderful holiday romance and I am so glad to add it to my library. Well Done Lizzie Huxley-Jones and Helen Keeley!

Make You Mine this Christmas
It was a Fake-dating trope that was done a little differently. What makes this one stand out is the amount of the supportive characters - Chris and Kit's parents, Laurel, Ambrose, Quiet Carriage Man. It was a very sloooww burn, but you really get to know the characters and really enjoy the development of the relationships. Then add all the hijinx and unfortunate incidents, and you have yourself a cute little Holiday RomCom.
Helen Keeley did a superb job with the narration! I read this last year, but listened this year and she truly brought the story to life! Hilarious and heartwarming performance!

This was a fun, queer romcom. Very English humor. Characters instantly lovable. Great disability and plus size rep. Narrator occasionally a bit nasal/shrill so one point off the performance. Still worth it!

Relateble caracters
I love the writer for making the main character and her crush more relatable, it’s the first queer romcom where main character wasn’t model thin, and her crush has a disability. Just generally a cute story
