I adored Sully & Weaver!

Steamy as heck age gap, forbidden romance! I loved Sully and Weaver's relationship throughout this book. They have a bit of a rocky start due to their families history and the nosy residents of their town, but they quickly realize that what they believe is not necessarily true. Such a great book with minimal drama and high on the heat level.

Ryan West and Lili Valente are amazing as Weaver and Sully. Even better in audio!!

Loving this series!

After losing her virginity to the man who destroyed her father, Sully feels bad that she actually wants more of Weaver.

Lili brings us another well-written age-gap, forbidden lovers story, this time with a feuding families dynamic. It was engaging, an emotional roller coaster, adding in all the mess involved in family greed. Steamy and sweet amidst all the kinda angsty parts.

Once again, Lili and Ryan West do a great job narrating this series.

Damaged hero earns the girl!

Stars align (really, the hero says so!) to resolve the drama that keeps the lovers apart.

And, wow, is there drama! But what else would you expect from challenging families, rivals, and enemies in a small coastal fishing town?

The performers were spot on, and, being a Yankee myself, I was impressed with the nimble use of a New England accent.

Both West and Valente delivered solid characters in a multitude of challenging situations.

Very enjoyable, and well worth listening.

Swoony Age-Gap, Forbidden Love Story

Make Me Yours was an age-gap, forbidden love story with two characters that fall quickly for one another, but circumstances and different stations in life threaten to keep them apart. Weaver and Sully are a delight and I enjoyed watching them navigate their dysfunctional family dynamics.

Sully and Weaver seemed like an unlikely match given their age difference and the history between their families, but they understood one another. There is a bit of instant attraction and these two fall for each other quickly, but their family history is a difficult obstacle to overcome.

Sully’s family has taken advantage of her kindness and willingness to help over the years and I loved how Weaver encouraged her to start fighting for what she wants out of life. He gave her the courage to go after her own dreams rather than settling for the life that had been thrust upon her. He fights for her when she starts to believe the lies that are being told and Sully is forced to make a choice for her future. Full of heat and heart, Make Me Yours was a fast-paced, emotional read and I quickly fell for Weaver and Sully and was rooting for their HEA.

The audio was narrated by Ryan West and Lili Valente. Both were fantastic and helped capture all of the emotion of the story. I loved listening to their performance and made me love the story even more.

Weaver was an exceptional character!

I liked the entire book, didn’t want it to end. Loved the author and looking forward to listening to more of her books.

Gertie and Weaver

The story about Gertie (Sully to her guy friends) and Weaver is one that once I started listening to, I just had to finish.

The story has a little of the Romeo and Juliet feel to it in that there are two feuding families living and working in a small fishing community close to the Canadian border. His family, the Tripps, seem to have the upper hand but they’re not completely above board while her family, the Sullivans, strive to make a living at a tough job but still within all the rules.

They met when she sneaked onto a yacht expecting to find his nephew Mark there to whom she had sent a sex pic that she wanted to delete from his phone before he saw it. Instead of Mark, she met Weaver an older grumpier man. But a man who knew what he wanted and he wanted her and for the first time in her life, she wanted a man.

Gertie had reached the ripe old age of 25 but was still a virgin who didn’t want to be a 26-year-old virgin something Weaver was happy to help her remedy.

Despite lots of family drama, lots of miscommunications and misunderstandings they manage to make their relationship work. I’m not going to go into details that would spoil the story for anyone else wanting to listen to it but what I will say is that their chemistry is hot and their love is deep and you can’t help but want them to succeed. With their families against them, will they be able to?

The story is written by Lily Valente, who also narrates the story along with Ryan West and together they do an incredible job and bring every nuance and emotion to the fore, I loved it. I look forward listening to the next book in the series when it becomes available on audio.

Couldn't Get Enough

This book was good. I couldn't get enough. It had the right adult content, and feels despite the age gap between the two characters. I can't wait to listen to the next book.
