Another Kris Bryant Masterpiece!

I am pretty sure that I've loved all of Kris Bryant's audiobooks and this is no exception. Lucky had great characters and great narration. The character who wins the lottery needed something good to happen in her life and not only did she win (I think it was) 20 million after taxes, but she even fell in love. lucky her! I really enjoyed all the characters and I liked that the main characters didn't have sex early in the book. the architect character definitely needed to take things slowly to fall in love. this wasnt the best written review, but I felt like I should say something to go along with my 5 STAR ratings :) thank you, Kris Bryant, for making my work days more entertaining.

What does Lucky feel like, love unexpected.

Gabrielle and Serena have spent their life guarding their heart- tall walls. Serena raised her sister and often her mother too much to carry so young. Gabrielle hid behind her work, she excelled in that, no feelings needed, just dreams of partnership in the architect firm she works at. When a lottery ticket changes Serena's life, she needs an architect to build her dream. Neither knew that when they met an even bigger dream lay ahead. Kris Bryant created a cast of characters that support these two strong women who grow stronger together. Brittni Pope gave sultry voice new meaning and Meribelle (Piper and Shaylie's little girl) stole my heart - Brittni is so very good.. I loved the depth given to our leading ladies and their friends and family brought warmth, fun and laughter. I will listen to this one often.

loved the story

Loved the story! This would be a dream come true! I could totally see myself in her shoes.
The narration was a miss for me on this one though. I've listened to and loved this narrator before but it didn't for me this time.

A great balance of life challenges, attraction and wanting love. The writing is great and narration was fantastic. TY

Love It

I loved the story and the character's slow buildup to romance. I also loved that the characters from Falling were supporting characters.

Who says you can't have it all?

I loved this story! The characters were so relatable and likeable. How awesome that she had such great luck, with money AND in love! Who wouldn't enjoy winning the lottery and the love of their life! I couldn't put this book down. Without giving away any spoilers, I enjoyed the element of both Serena and Gabrielle having to work through some deep personal issues throughout the story. It was an awesome bonus for me, being a femme who dates and loves femmes, to see two femme characters get together. It was a nice change from the butch-femme dynamic that's so prevalent. I'll be rereading this book anytime I want inspiration about playing and maybe even winning the lottery, and a good love story, all rolled up in one.
