I loved this book! I thought it was such a fun and unique love story!

This book is HILARIOUS! 🤣

Hallie is a spunky blue haired web series producer in search of a new hit. She teams up with Hayden, a conspiracy theorist podcaster, to make a paranormal web series. Their on-screen banter and obvious chemistry make the show a hit! However, with only one slot left for next season, they will have to compete against Hallie’s toxic, verbally abusive, golden boy ex for a chance to get their show renewed.

I have been on a romance kick recently and have been getting a little bored with the similarities between them but this book was a breath of fresh air! It is so unique! From the conspiracy theories to the Ghost Hunter vibes to a mom catching her adult son smoking a doobie, it was so funny and kept me entertained from cover to cover.

I really liked Hallie and I think I a lot of people can relate to what she has gone through. She trusted the wrong person and they took advantage of her, destroying her confidence and self worth. Even after everything she has gone through she is so light-hearted and empathetic. She is able to understand exactly what Hayden needs and strives to be there for him.

Although Hayden is a little quirky, he is the perfect golden retriever MMC I can’t help but fall in love with! Hitting us with lines like “If I hear of you trying to hurt her and, so help me God, if you ever lay a hand on her-“ how could I not swoon!

If you like contemporary romance, rom-coms, Ghost Hunters, criptids, open-door spice or just a really good book, you will LOVE this one!

So Fun

I had so much fun with this audiobook! The story was highly entertaining and that mixed the fun style of the audio like it was experiencing the web episodes themselves was very unique

everything great! such a delightful read. one thing I dislike is the female character offer him the weeds lol why the hell you have to do that to a person that already has depressed problem? just a hug and talk to him and be with him is enough smh I try weed once and my head hurt like a mf I definitely not recommend that to anyone.

I absolutely LOVED this audiobook! It was fun, light-hearted, and humor was spot-on. The main characters were funny and incredibly relatable. Alex Finke is one of my favorite narrators and was a perfect fit for this book. If you’re into the paranormal and conspiracy theories, this is definitely one for you!

Cute, upbeat!

This book is my favorite audiobook of the year! It was easy to listen to and upbeat. I felt like I was listening to a podcast rather than just listening to someone read aloud. The story is cute with a happy ending.

Great overall, but the accent work was rough

The Boston accent was really bad and all other accent work could have been a lot better, but otherwise great

The story was great, the references were fantastic, and the narrator was AMAZING. Mallory Harlowe did such a great job making me feel like I was reading a story from the real social media paranormal community. Both main characters were so funny, but in different ways. Hayden’s paranormal nerd humor was the best. Alex Finke could not have been a more perfect narrator, and she had PERFECT timing and cadence for the humor. She’s amazing. I highly recommend this book for anyone who loves YouTube ghost shows, or just loves a funny, sweet rom com!
