Hilarious!

The perfect tongue in cheek narrative that gets us to laugh at ourselves as we laugh at the characters in Kinsella’s book.

Typical storyline and kind of boring

Typical storyline of kind of boring. Some of it was just depressing and long-winded.
Obviously, it was a nice ending

Disappointed

my first Kinsella read. I concluded I am not a member of her target audience. Dear Reader, the characters and plots just did not engage me.

I felt all the emotions of “life” with this book. Great listen! I highly recommend.

I liked the book a lot! Sophie Kinsella has always been one of my favorite authors. I didn’t love this one as much as her others, but it was still a wonderful book.

WONDERFUL

I loved everything about this book. The leading lady & male lead are fantastic. Their story made me warm inside with romantic attraction, laugh from dialogue & situations & cry from heartbreak! Great story! Narrator excellent!

The conflict! Such an unlikely pairing! Funny!

Very enjoyable. I enjoyed guessing how it would end. Love the unexpected twists. Lots of smiles!

Main character is hard to like. Character development was a bit slow, but message was good!

Overall it was a good story, but I had a hard time with the characters. They developed slowly for my personal taste. It’s an example of self reflection and unconditional acceptance of your significant other.
