super cute!

God, I love these two and would like to catch up with them in another story! So much left, med school, family. love them. really cute story.

Great book with not so great narration

This book was amazing. I live and breathe for Tate's little gay and butch awakening. I see myself in her so much it hurts. I loved the story and will definitelly listen to this book again. Or most likely, read it myself. Im a sucker for narrators that can put passion into their narration and can deliver emotional scenes. This one, unfortunately, was a dissapointment. It just was very obvious the narrator was just reading a script and forgot to put emotion into what they were reading. Often I felt like I was listening to a cooking recipe. The spicy scenes were well written, but poorly delivered. Then again, I was already sweating during the bar scene, cant imagine what a good narration of that would do to me.

It took a couple listens

So, I was super excited about this one! I started listening and was like, this is ok! Then the more I listened I thought, I don’t know. I had read the book and was like, that’s not how I imagined any of it. I gave myself a few days to kind of let it sink in, then I listened to it again and again. And I have to say I loved it! Once I got out of my own head it was an awesome listen! Thank you so much Nicole Plyland

I loved the book and the narration is soooo good. Joining Tate and Flynn on their journey was such a treat. Thank you Nicole for another amazing story.

Love it closer than you think

This is a slight change from Nicole’s series books. It tells the story of two best friends Tate and Flynn discovering how their relationship is changing. Tate is also learning about her father that she hasn’t seen in years. These young women are so very sweet as they go on a journey of a lifetime before they start medical school. I must say that this is one of the hottest stories I’ve read by Nicole. The scene in a NYC lesbian nightclub was so very sexy.
Leanne Woodward did a wonderful job narrating this story.

Not what I was expecting

I didn’t find the story very believable. It took me awhile to like the MCs. There were parts I liked a lot, but then they didn’t really go anywhere. I would have liked a little more character development for sure. And this was a lot more erotica than romance, just not my particular taste.
I felt the narration was just ok. Sorry! I am going to give another Nicole Pyland book a go before I make any firm opinions on the author.
