Disappointing

Winter reminds me of real people I know and it breaks my heart. Never evolving and always worshipping material things, status, and willfully remaining as ignorant as possible about anything outside of their comfort zone. The story itself has no substance and is just a long-winded description of a bunch of expensive luxury items. The narration was awful hands down, Other books in this series were great and I honestly got the book out of loyalty to the author and the characters...the storyline in general, but I really regret this one smh.

It was okay

The story had so much potential but it dragged on for so long just to rush the ending and then leave so many unanswered questions. It’s not the worst book in the world but I was expecting so much more honestly. Overall it was okay

Excuse me what?

I’m just confused!! This story was read so slowly and all over the place. I feel like this the last book should’ve been the last book.

Very Disappointed

I was really disappointed about this book. It had no real storyline and at this point I thought Winter had grown up. I thought I would see her evolve after spending 15 years in prison.

All I kept saying is Winter is so stupid

I absolutely love the Winter Santiaga series. Life After Death was a work of art, but this wasn’t it. This seemed thrown together and considering how long it took for SS to write LAD I’m not sure why she rushed through this but this seemed like more of a rough draft that should have been thrown out and rewritten. There were too many points brought up and left unfinished or even untouched that made this a very frustrating read. I’m sorry I love SS as a writer but this was the worst of her catalog.

Hilarious and entertaining

As a long-time fan of The Coldest Winter Ever, I was excited to revisit Winter in Love After Midnight. The audiobook didn’t disappoint—Sister Souljah’s narration, along with the supporting cast, made the story come alive. It was entertaining, with plenty of laugh-out-loud moments that took me back, though I couldn’t help but notice how Winter’s character hasn’t grown much over the years. Her “strategic” moves often felt more amusing than clever. Still, it was a fun, nostalgic ride that kept me hooked.

Overall, a solid 4 out of 5 stars. Worth the listen, especially for long-time fans!

Nia Long should have narrated

the end was horrible, now we have to wait another 5 to 10 years to find out what really happened.

Definitely did NOT get into this one

I’ve read now 4 of the books in this series and I must say my Sister has just about lost me. I appreciate the exposure to something new but it’s become pretty outlandish & unbelievable. I understand embellishment with storytelling but this is a bit much. This Winter Santiago leaves EVERYTHING to be desired. The self worship, ridiculously vain & materialistic, egocentric grandeur is extremely sickening. This book was hard for me to get thru, as was Life After Death. I’m praying I missed something but as it stands, I got absolutely nothing out of this book.

nothing really

Greetings, this book wasn't as good as life after death! it starts off slow giving a poetry slam kinda feel. I would have loved if Nia Long would have be the one telling the story like in life after death..
