A worthy followup to Killers of a Certain Age

Amazing writing and story, as always. And learning a bit about art, as well. Both narrators are amazing.

I love these old ladies!

I so enjoy the situation these ladies get into. It feels nice to see a story that does not disregard the folks that have wisdom. I really hope we get to know the ladies even more.

I love this team of friends who have real bodies, real flaws, but charge forward! Their dedication and energy at “a certain age” propel a fun and globetrotting ride!

I like these tough old broads!

I liked the close unreachable relationships among the four killers. I liked that they were old but still formidable. The story was interesting but too a back seat to the camaraderie.

Thoroughly enjoyed the audiobook, narration, characters, story, locations, humour. Hope there is another in the series.

Necessary monsters

I enjoyed Killers of a Certain Age. This book, Kills Well with Others, was every bit as enjoyable. I am hoping there will be more books in this series.

The characters are delightful, and despite being a team of highly trained assassins, completely believable. I love that they’re in their 60s. I love that they have worked together for 40 years and they remain ride or die for each other. I LOVE that the narrator didn’t pitch her voice into doddering granny regions with a quaver.

Satisfying

I could hardly wait to download this sequel by Deanna Raybourn that I preordered after reading KOACA. It was a joy to revisit the characters and see them successfully complete missions and reunite with each other as they struggle with retirement, aging, love, relationships, and just to survive. Billie is my favorite grey heroine, both morally and physically. My question is, will they *really* retire? If you liked the movie "Red" you will enjoy this series about The Sphinxes. Just enough humor and emotion with the action and occasional gore.
