Acerca de esta escucha

When corrupt globalist billionaires plot to destroy America, they unwittingly make themselves top priority targets of the Tavenner Group.

Is it too late to save America from these foreign and domestic enemies?

Can a compromised FBI be put back in proper order?

The effort will be monumental...the risks near unimaginable...but Liberty must be defended—no matter the cost.

Publisher's note: Like Killer Trace: The Immersion and Killer Trace: Fated Reflection, this book closes nicely with no cliff-hangers, loose ends, or downers. It is recommended that the listener begin with the first book in the series, Killer Trace: The Immersion, for a better understanding of how the Tavenner Group operates, and for familiarization of the characters in the series.

The narrator once again did a fabulous job bringing these characters and story to life. I still think the twins are my favorite characters. This book is a bit faster paced but doesn't sacrifice on detail or further character development. I enjoyed the stronger emphasis on relationships between the main characters, but there is still plenty of action and Vigilante Justice that keeps you fully engaged. Hopefully the author continues to write.

Another great installment

The Tavenner Group is determined to save America from corrupt globalist billionaires. The corruption goes deep in government and FBI! both foreign and domestic! The cost will be high but necessary.

Dan Newberry continues the Tavenner narrative with a gripping tale of vigilante justice. The fast-paced story is enriched by well-developed characters, whose relationships are carefully explored. Multiple points of view immerse the listener, while unexpected, well-executed plot twists keep the suspense high.

Narrator Katelyn Michals delivers a powerful performance, capturing each character vividly. Her cadence and intonation enhance the action, drawing listeners deep into the story’s thrilling pace.

Newberry also excels in portraying strong female characters, making them integral to the series. The book’s premise and characters will linger in your mind long after it ends—an unforgettable experience! I look forward to hearing more from both Newberry and Michals.

More Thrills and Rich Characters

I gave 5 stars on Overall and Performance, and 4 on Story as it got a little political in places, but not too much. Like the previous two books in this series, there are plenty of unexpected and generally pleasant surprises. April Lang may be Newberry's best developed character to date, which is saying a lot as his characters are honestly more "real" than I find in most books of this genre. My favorite parts in this one are the personal interactions between Ben Tavenner and FBI Special Agent Valerie Atwell. Newberry introduced Valerie Atwell in the earlier books, but she takes a much more prominent role in this book, and her character is well imagined and deeply detailed.

We have some shifting of points of view in this novel. Most is third person, but there are some first person chapters fit in here and there, as Newberry lets the characters speak directly to the listener. Katelyn Michals, the narrator, is perfect, as she has been in the two previous books. Combining Michals' skills with the cast of very intriguing characters was a home run from the first couple of chapters.

I know I go on about character development, but in my opinion that is what really makes a book memorable and enjoyable. If the people seem shallow or fake, I will often not finish the book. Newberry's characters are so real they have a way of "living in your head" after the book is finished. Not kidding! :)

As mentioned, the story is borderline too political, but you'll get over that as you "get to know" April Lang and Valerie Atwell in this third book of the series.

Well written, got a bit political but LOVED IT!

Newberry continues his hit thrillogy with another winner. He continues the thrill of the hunt in this addition, leading the reader through fantasy blended with reality. Newberry drops his masculine facade long enough to display his knowledge of fashion and cosmetology with vivid imagery along with interpersonal tensions that almost ooze from the pages. One has to wonder if the car talk and tactical details are only incidental to the ultimate vigilante romantic fantasy. Well done Dan Newberry, well done.
