Enjoyed this story. Liked the narrators. Suspenseful and romantic story line.
Happy to see vengeful Ivy get her just desserts.

A mystery book that had you guessing in the wrong direction. I love when a book does that. The spice was appropriate but light.

I dont know

In theory if you just want some light listen and don’t need to think then this books is quite good. It has some twisted and turns and a lot of sexual attention and spicy sex scenes. But once you start to think and realise how unrealistic and absurd the storyline and characters are you will not enjoy the book.

Technical issues

Repeated lines not well edited, Good story even though predictable, Good actors/readers, I love the authors ability to bring characters to life,

I thought it was a great book. My only problem was that it was just one person that was narrating. It's so much better when you have 2 different people doing the narration. I almost stopped listening because of it but kept going since I paid for it. But like I said it was a great book so I definitely recommend it.

The antagonistic reader

I generally like Avery Flynn’s books although the fashion details are absurd. Listening to this particular book was similar to listening to a woman having an argument with herself. The reader’s tone was aggressive and she mispronounced many words. It just gave me a bad taste in my mouth. The story was formulaic but ok.

Annoying

Poor editing, repetitive narration. Dictation of narrator bothersome. Story needed better editing. I’m mad that the other reviews gave this five stars. This is not ready for purchase and should have a review to let people know. Don’t bother with this until it is fixed. Other books by author are more polished. Disappointing.
