Soooo Good!

I can't say how much I am loving these assassins who get brought to their knees by strong women. I really enjoyed this listen and was cheering for Declan, who got his woman in end! I can't wait for the next book in the series.

Sweet Killer Romance

This was a good story, but it had its faults. It was sticky sweet how Declan fell for Audrey and Harper. The audio was very good. I enjoyed the narration more than expected.

I can’t say this was a top five by Eve Langlais, but it did have all I’ve come to expect. Steamy scenes, giggles, and suspense. It was telegraphed heavily though and easy to figure out who the Harper’s real daddy was. There were a couple of things that seemed to meander off course and not make a lot of sense. I may have been able to follow better if I replayed a couple of scenes but I chose to just continue. I don’t want to add spoilers so I’ll just say it involved attending the open house. The bet they made was amusing.

Overall it was good and I enjoyed it to the sweet HEA. I just can’t see it as 5 stars great. I’ll settle on a solid 4.0. Worth the listen for a sticky sweet HEA with an aforable kid and kuck/a mom.

the story was predictable but entertaining none the less. performed beautifully, it was quite enjoyable.

BBI teams up w Killer Moms!

Single mom, and assassin, Audrey, is about to leave on an assignment when something seems off w the replacement nanny. A quick double back confirms her suspicion that someone was attempting to kidnap her 11 mo daughter. With a job to do, and no nanny, Audrey leaves baby Harper at the home of BBI operative, Declan. When Declan opens the door, he finds a baby and a note saying that she’s his. After an epic freak out, Declan begins the search for a nanny, with the intention of performing a DNA test to determine paternity. He reluctantly hires the most qualified nanny...reluctantly, because she’s bossy as he!! and Declan is attracted to her. When the offices of BBI are broken into, we learn that the nanny, Edith, and Harper’s mom, Audrey, are one and the same. Turns out that she is investigating one of Declan’s real estate clients and search for a lost artifact. BBI and Killer Moms (Audrey’s employer) team up to recover the artifact, as well as determine who’s trying to kidnap the baby. As with the earlier books in the series, there is lots of action, suspense and sexy times. Author Eve Langlais has done it again...The story is well written and holds the reader’s attention throughout. It also helps that narrator, Rebecca Mitchell, perfectly portrays each character. I am hooked on this series and can’t wait for the next book!!

Killer Mommy

I could not relate to Daddies or Mommies who kill people for a living, yet claim to be loving parents.

I kept wondering how Declan or Audrey were going to teach the child morals or integrity.

And if murder is acceptable, what about cheating, stealing, and lying?

Forced title, forced story

I miss the author’s campy shifter romances.
The guns and gummies combo of killling and kiddos just didn’t work.
