She also did a great job explaining how the girls in her sorority we’re not able to maintain that look without extreme measures of exercise, bulimia and or anorexia. Lisa I love the fact that you and John raised your sons up to know what God values in a woman and not the world. I also love the way that once you took your focus off your weight (idolatry) and put it on God, God worked everything out with your metabolism without dieting and excessive exercise. Great Insight into Perception and Perspective
Enjoyed the read! Gives good insight into why we think the way we do and how to stop making excuses. Great narrator as well.

mostly fluff
the author spends very little time on how she recovered. it's mostly pre story and scripture. mostly fluff for me. I was hoping for more useful content and details of how I can apply this to my life. I wasn't looking for scripture study. I also didn't care for the reader's extra drama to everything, nor her voice. she sounds desperate and whiny.
