Fun book.

This is a really unique and fun read. I actually laughed out loud at times.

SUCH A CLIFFHANGER, AHHHH

Another amazing, hella fun listen. I literally listened to it in a day— I COULD NOT STOP. I love this strange universe and all the strange, strange beings in it.

One of my fav things about this book was how different Steele had to approach life after losing his ~favorite coping mechanisms.~ The growth he seems to undergo is quite significant, and I’m SO excited to see where this leads. I’m waiting the next book with bated breath, because this one leads with SUCH a cliffhanger— I’m going crazy!! 😨

I can’t wait for more— these have been great so far and I’ll be listening to them on repeat, I can already tell.

Great second book for this series. This is my new favorite genre of books. Looking forward to the next

Rigby is super talented and also is a great nickname for a quantum pet (prob a dawg)

you have to pay attention!

i really enjoyed Issac Steele. well thought out, lots of easter eggs ( intentional or not i don't know) but clever writing. fast paced and enentertaining.

sam spade in spaaace

rigby fixes the one shortcoming in douglas adams-ish sci-fi : fleshed out characters.
steele is such a well realised character, as are the rest of the cast. continues to have phenomenal joke density, surprisingly poignant moments, and growing sharp political commentary.

The narrator kept me interested when the story got too chaotic

I really enjoyed both this & the first book. Engaging, funny, interesting & at times gross. I’m like scifi in general & this hit the mark for me

Surprisingly Good!

Picked this up at random and gave it a listen, turns out it’s pretty good! The author does a great job narrating his own work, although it does take a while to get used to him, but the overall production value caught me by surprise. It’s excellent, maybe the best I’ve heard. Sound effects and music are tastefully done and should be an example to all other producers out there.

The story takes a while to grow on you too, but once you’ stuck around long enough, you’ll be drawn in. The characters are all very likeable, and some loveably hateable (sp?), and all serve the story admirably. Give this a try, it may grow on you too, the characters may worm their way into your heart (or other guts) and, oh yeah, it’s very funny!!

Sci-Fi Detective Story

Loved this book. Smartly written, well performed. Lots of great twists and turns. Can’t wait for the next one.

Highly Entertaining

You have to have your wit on for this one. Packed with British irony, sarcasm, and humor, but as if Ted Lasso said, "F--- this Poly Anna bs." One of the few times the narration voice and delivery are perfect for the story. The Jack Reacher series should take a note on how this narrator/story match-up was done.
