Because it sounded most like what I enjoy reading and it was beautifully wonderfully written.. I plan to go back and listen to the others!! Great book

So great!

Another great one! Such a great installment in the “Irresistibly” series and you won’t be disappointed if you’ve read the rest. You can also pick it up as a stand alone. I really like seeing other characters from the other books. The writing and storyline are so good- original I think, I haven’t seen it before and, as with J. Saman’s other books, I really felt like I was right there with the characters in the story. I can’t wait for more in the series!

Audiobook review

I loved this story, and listening to it was just even better. Both narrators were new to me but they did a fantastic job bringing out these characters to life. This second chance sports romance was so good from the beginning to the end.

Second Chance Romance

Asher and Wynter meet in a club bathroom and hit it off. Asher just won the Super Bowl and Wynter was there to have fun. Having a very sloppy and embarrassing performance by Asher hook up, Wynter takes off. A year later both Wynter and Asher are in Boston. Wynter is an orthopedic doctor and Asher is still the QB for the Boston’s NFL team. Wynter is told by her boss that she was asked and now officially assigned to the NFL team. She tries to get out of it, due to her toxic vacant of a father, who is now the Head Coach, but her boss says no.

Showing up to the field, she runs right smack into Asher. He is shocked and tries to apologize for that night but she doesn’t recognize him since she was tipsy so he plays it off. She is now his doctor since he had an MRI done and it shows a tear in his shoulder. Later on he blurts out to her the truth at a party he was throwing and she was invited to by her co-worker. She’s absolutely shocked about the truth but then she throws a curveball back by saying she has a son… and it’s his!

There were so many levels to this story but that only strengthened Wynter and Asher’s relationship. Wynter has daddy issues and she definitely makes Asher work for her confidence but he goes over and beyond to do so!

Terrific narration

J. Saman is one of my favorite authors. I read and listen to all her books. I'm a fan of this type of story trope. Virginia Rose is phenomenal as always and Dane Anderson is fantastic!

I love this series ! Asher is a great character . Can't wait for the next book .

Fun and flirty

Loved asher throughout the series. He is such a fun character. The book did not disappoint. The voices weren’t always my favorite but still loved this audible and recommend.

J Saman is a one click author for me now. I appriciate that she doesn't drone on and on in her stories.

Like the female narration but the male narration was just okay. I am picky though haha

Single Mom/Secret Baby/One Night Stand/Sports

I had the biggest smile on my face for a good portion of this book. No lie. I also cringed a couple times out of second hand embarrassment for Asher a couple time at the beginning of this book, but I seriously had the best time with this one. There was so much to love about this book, but the biggest for me was Asher and his devotion to both Wynter and Mason. He was seriously such a swoon worth male lead, I don't know how anyone wouldn't like him (though obviously everyone is entitled to their opinion (even if they are wrong)).

Ok, joking aside, Asher and Wynter were truly great characters. Yes, there is a secret baby, though when you have no idea who the father is, it's difficult to tell him about said child. I think the entire situation around the secret baby aspect of this story was handled perfectly. The way both Asher and Wynter react when they find out who the other person is, is truly the best. I loved how the relationship between Wynter and Asher developed, and I loved how they learned to communicate with each other. I loved how Asher was immediately dedicated to being a good father and I love that Wynter let him.

Honestly, the vibes of this book just worked perfectly for me, making this such an enjoyable read/listen. I've thoroughly enjoyed everything I've read from this author, and this book was no exception. You bet I will be finishing this series and continuing to read whatever else she has in store for us.

Asher Reyes. O. M. G. Irresistibly Risky is just too irresistibly good. I was hooked to story from the very beginning. You just want to melt with all the stuff Asher does to convince Wynter in giving him a second chance. With lines like, “I just want to be his dad.” How can you not melt?! Like seriously. Wynter in her own right is just such a great character. She’s an orthopedic surgeon and a single mom. She’s witty but has her moments of vulnerability. The chemistry between the two is so much fun to read. I just love this series and can’t wait for Lennox’ story next.
