Acerca de esta escucha

The offer: a weekend in paradise with a multimillionaire lover. No strings attached…

Tess Robertson is about to get engaged—to a man she doesn't love. But when she meets dynamic, sexy Derek Nolan, she's thrilled to take him up on his seductive proposal instead!

The fantasy: a lush tropical island filled with sun, sand…and a lot of sexual exploration….

Derek can hardly believe his good fortune. Tess is uninhibited…and totally into their uncomplicated, steamy hot island romp!

The reality: paradise is only temporary….

When real life crashes back in, Tess reluctantly forces herself to leave the island and go back to the uninspired life she'd planned for herself.

Cute one

Good narrator, nice hero, plot doesn't feel forced. Focus is very much on the heroine's development. No manufactured hangups for the hero.

When 2 Different Worlds Collide= Magic!!

I picked this book because one of my favorite narrators, Savannah Richards narrated it and once again she really brought the characters to life with the perfect voices. I must say, I really enjoyed this book. Yes, it was totally a "To Good to Be True" scenario, but honestly in the negative world we all live in today, it was a fantasy I was ready to listen to!

I also liked that there was not a lot of game playing o/t Tess not being able to make up her mind towards the end of the storyline. I also wish there was a more detailed conclusion. I would have loved the story to end with one of Derek and Tess’s horses winning a race that Jeffrey had a horse in; and not only did Jeffrey see Tess come out on top in the horse race, but also in love with Derek. Now that would have been a PERFECT ending in my thoughts, but that is not to be. Instead, we get a quick ending with no details on other characters mentioned in the story, such as, Alicia, Derek’s family, and of course Jeffrey and his new fiancé.

I still loved the story though and I only wished it was longer, but to emerge myself in a few hours of a fantasy world where two people from very different walks of like came together and found love was totally worth it.
