Amazing!

This book did such an amazing job of providing advocacy for individuals with disabilities, as well as for interabled couples. It does just that by telling the story so beautifully. It is very thought provoking and brought out many emotions. I thoroughly loved it!

Interabled

As a disabled person from a downhill skiing accident in 1990 in an "interabled" relationship, I related to so many situations. Ty Ty Ty! I clearly remember while taking a "walk" during one of my many hospital stays crying sitting in my wheelchair in a hospital gown outside an ice-cream shop down by the University of MN Hospital while everyone else went inside because the shop wasn't accessible. Yes they did bring me out some (my family isn't mean...lol)! However, I wanted to see the choices! I also can totally relate to flying. My scooter or wheelchair comes back to me with some damage every time airport personnel carry it up and down by the gate. Also, I have a disability which I can often hide; Therefore, I have endured talking behind my back and rude questioning by relatives. Hidden disability is a whole topic alone! Dealing with a disability isn't always easy. However for many, including my husband and myself, it's our normal. It's other people who it's abnormal for. I do feel very blessed by how my husband deals with it being our normal. Although, I believe it's how any loving couple should deal with each other's needs. I truly enjoyed this book. Thank you for sharing so much of your life.

real good listen

i really enjoy this read i have been a fan of thiers for years i have cp so i have been though similar issues itfelt so good hear al the other stories as well i would love to spend five with the the writers i do watch thier youtube channel i hope they continue in life and love

Enjoyable, hopeful & informative stories

I’m a huge fan of Shane and Hannah Burcaw, and have been waiting for this book for a while. It was good to hear all the couple’s love stories. I would’ve even loved to hear more stories and statistics. I didn’t care for all the voice actors as some of the original couple’s playful dialogue & humor was lost in translation. It would’ve been great to hear the actual couple’s voices, but that probably would’ve been a much more difficult thing to acquire. It was a good audible read overall. Shane & Hannah are always hilarious and wonderful. I’m so glad that they are teaching the world so much about love, accessibility, ableism and being Interabled. Hannah’s last line during the acknowledgments, had me roaring with laughter. Great way to end my listening adventure with Interabled.

A full spectrum of love stories

I loved this book by the Burcaw’s. I have listened to Shane Burcaw’s other books and I enjoyed this one even more with the telling of other couples stories and the narration of this book done by both Shane and Hannah. It gives a cheerful insight with the continual reminder that having a disability does not somehow interfere with being “normal”. All of these couples are in love. The same kind of love as any other couple. Perhaps even more caring, compassionate and communicative. I highly recommend this title.

Much needed and LONG overdue

These are the love stories that I’m thankful we can hear about — raw, real, and honest. Amazing collection of stories!

I think Shane and Hannah did a great job with this book! Especially since it's there voices narrating with a few other people.
