Liked this, however...

I have listened to most of Mesu Andrews’ audiobooks , and of course the characters are always very intriguing and is what draws me into the story. I wanted to hear more about Jezebel and her schemes and General Jesu and his wildness over cleaning up the country. I know it’s just a story in between lines of the Bible, it would have been more listening friendly to hear about them and less about war. And I must have missed the part about Anna(the priests 1st wife) what in the world happened to her???

Outstanding battle between good and evil.

Wowzers!Meisu Andrews does an incredible job with taking the history from the Bible and bring it it to life. I recently completed a study on Jezebel, Athaliah and Sheba. She did a remarkable job of bringing the characters to life. You could sense the struggles, fears and victories throughout the book. I would highly recommend this book, especially if you want to dig in and study the characters in the Bible.

Amazing

Totally loved this book. Couldn't wait to get back to it. Mesu Andrews has accomplished her goal - to encourage people back into the scriptures. While I've read all of the scriptures related to these characters, I had to go back and read again as it all makes more sense. I love how this book reintroduces the power of a true Godly relationship between husband and wife and how patience and forgiveness are paramount to strengthening our relationships with each other and our Father.

Every believer should read this to understand the history of Israel and God's undying love for all of us.

This story brought color and detail to this biblical story. One of my favorite audible books. The narration was amazing.
