Made me see baseball differently

I’ve only watched baseball because my wife loves it, but I never really paid attention to the history. This audiobook changed that. The stories about past players, big moments, and even the strange superstitions made the game more interesting to me. I didn’t expect to enjoy learning about it, but I found myself really into some of the stories. It gave me something new to talk about with my wife, and now I actually pay more attention when we watch games together.

I'm always for the underdog and how they achieved the impossible. Baseball is an American pastime in every sense of the sport. It embodies the essence of so much, and this book illustrates this.
