I liked this series although I swear if the two leads were to go one more round of “are we all right” I was going to crack their heads together. Then just as it gets really rolling, the series ends. Sigh.

in the drink. this book three of the Macks Bar mystery series
continuation from the other two books. tech you took you on a scavenger hunt and trying to solve a murder and you were able to solve an unsolved crime from years past. come to find out it was the girlfriend or wife of one of the people that played role in the death of one of the girls while in high school. I like the part of going on a scavenger hunt to solve this mystery. and carries over into book four

Bonus extra mysteries are great!
Really enjoyed how the bar patrons cook up daily mysteries to solve for fun, but also turn their talents to the cold case involving the loved one of one of their friends.

The Ending???
What ending? I was shocked it was left so flat. Talk about a cliffhanger! Up until then I was a real fan of the main character and her fascinating “gift.” Now I’m just mad. Boo hiss!

Entertaining
This series is a great listen. Entertaining and easy to listen to while completing chores. I just wish the author didn't spell out every detail of certain actions, like making a drink, as if she was teaching a class. "Show don't tell."
