Hugh!! What a surprise!

Book 2 of the The Blue Blood Returns series is fantastic! As we pick up where Kristin left off, things for the vampires are trying to find Portage, and Hugh and Kristin are now mated. But while the passion is high, there are secrets being held that even Hugh doesn't even realize he is keeping. Danger lurking, the VMF is hot on the trail to stop the carnage and keep the vampires and humans living in harmony. But will they find him before chaos takes over? Twists, turns, danger, steam, and an unexpected surprise that may change everything take place in this one, and the cliffhanger has me on the edge! Now I am anxiously awaiting Xander!

Alex Black continues his narration of the story and had me captivated in this installment. Great pacing, and good voices, he gives a good build up of suspense and brings in all the fear, excitement and danger! Loved it!

So much drama

This book is part of a series and you need to listen to the books in order to understand the plot. This book also ends in a cliffhanger. The whole series is full of drama, plot twists, and love triangles. I have mixed feelings about it. It's well written, but sometimes I'm in a mood for less drama and simple HEA. This series is not that. The narrator dies a good job but he narrates the characters in the same voice so often I am lost as to which character is speaking.

Loved it !! this story. the narrator is so fantastic it's like your really there!! After listening to this story,. I totally enjoyed reading this book. It’s well written and the characters were uniquely fantastic. I would suggest this book to my friends that like this sort of genera. this was a good book. The narration was great.
