Great story! Strong female lead!

I really enjoyed this story and like that both the suspense and romance didn't seem forced. Sonya is one tough lady working in a male dominated fishing industry. It was good to see how she was willing to take risks and dealt with all the nay sayers head on! The author does a really great job with context setting, at least I now know the difference between set netting and drift fishing in case it ever comes up in a quiz!

The narration was my least favourite thing - it was a little flat at times and I didn't really like the male voices.

Mischief and murder.

Sonja and Peter lost their parents and Sonja’s twin sister Sasha to a fishing boat accident. They still fish the summers with their grandparents at their fishing camp in Alaska.
Thief just don’t know that their parent’s deaths were no accident and history might just try to repeat itself this summer.
Garett transferred in as a trooper for the fishing season, it won’t be a quiet summer.

Leave out the graphic sex the story is good enough to stand on its own

Riveting! Twist & Turns!

It was very good with it's twists and turns that kept you guessing. I like grandpa's creative words over the fowl language that was being used every time you turned around. But overall, the book was good.

REALLY like this series

the books are stand alone but nicely tie in with the next book in the series. They are believable and real and fun to listen to.
The trooper, Garrett Hunt from book 1 'EDGE' in this series. Gets his own romance in this book and she is a real b#ll buster. He has his work cut out for him. I listened to this book twice.

Hooked from the beginning

What made the experience of listening to Hooked the most enjoyable?

I listened to the book while walking to work and found it easy to listen to.

What about Mia Chiaromonte’s performance did you like?

It was hard to listen to at the start but that may have been as it was my first audio book, after a while she captured the story and characters really well.

Any additional comments?

Tiffinie had me Hooked (excuse the pun) from beginning.
The twists and turns we so well written and I can't wait to read more of Tiffinie's books.

Easy listening, I enjoyed the story.

This series of books has been enjoyable. It's an easy author to follow and imagine the scenery. I recommend it.

Slow and problematic

Story was too long and drawn out with a bunch of unanswered questions.

I absolutely hated how stupid Garrett was with sexual safty! First he forgets to put on the condom and then later he promises to pull out but just cums inside anyway! WTF! I would have run to get plan B and never talked to him again! that's not romantic or sexy! Then later on says something along the lines of I hope you're pregnant so we're stuck together... hmm he was no better than Aiden.

I liked the first book in the series so I'll give the next book a try but I'm disappointed in Book 2.

I really enjoyed this audio book about fishing families engaged with commercial salmon fishing. there is sabotage and murder. the characters seem awfully stupid in many ways!
