Very Enjoyable

A good read with a different storyline. I liked that the attraction between the two main characters was palpable but did not devolve into soft-core porn. Of course, I always love a happy ending!

Well done. Definitely a favorite. I couldn’t put it “down”. I finished it two days. Wonderfully Written. Perfection.

Heart warming love story. Also included drama when the Cornal kidnapped his love interest in the night!

Great story!

Loved the characters. The author does a great job writing this story….. felt as though I could have been at the house party. As always I loved the happy ending.

Delightful Characters and plot twists!

Henry turned out to be my favorite Bradford brother, as expected, having listened to the prior novels in this series. It was hard to put down and yet I found myself re-listening to sections simply to enjoy them again! I highly recommend this series, each novel is stand alone and yet the set is worth it.

Story focused on the mail. Weakness characteristics way too much.

Too many weaknesses for the lead man. It took me about halfway through the book until I got really tired of the same theme over and over for the him. He needs to have overcompensating strengths otherwise I’m not interested in his character. Also, the male narrator’s voice wasn’t masculine enough to overcome this character’s weaknesses.

Fun and engaging

This is a fun and engaging story. The characters are great and the romance is sweet. Both MCs are secret authors writing under pen names. The two strike a mutually beneficial agreement - Marianne will help Henry add a romantic interest to his action adventure story (required by his publisher), and Henry will help Marianne overcome her publishing hurdles. There are plenty of Pride and Prejudice references, and I especially enjoyed Marianne teaching Henry’s uncouth pirate how to woo his lady.

Perhaps it’s not the deepest or most thought provoking book out there, but it’s well written and I really enjoyed reading it.

Content:
There is no foul language or sex, and the violence is minimal. The romance is limited to a couple chaste kisses. A female character is abducted but rescued. There is no mention of faith or God.

One of my fav authors, did not disappoint!

I waited very impatiently for this story after reading the other Bradwell Brothers books and I was not disappointed! So many other regency romances have grown quite boring but this one has some fresh twists and turns that I enjoyed very much. I also caught myself laughing out loud several times! Definitely worth a “listen” and both narrators did an excellent job.

Good but…

Good story and fantastic narration. I absolutely adored the hero, Harry! I wish more story’s were written with heroes who are still masculine without being brutish. I did not however warm to Marianne at all. I found her selfish and self centric. I think it’s possible to be a strong woman and still be a kind and thoughtful of others. I wanted better for sweet Harry.

Great Read!

This book was a sweet love story, and Kasey Stockton is such a good author! I also loved the performance as I always do with these narrators!
