An Engaging Story

I enjoyed listening to His Golden Heart. It's not often, if ever, that I've read or listened to a book where the hero is struggling with a significant physical health challenge. I was rooting for him all the way and felt bad about the circumstances that led to his disability. His supermodel girlfriend was something else. I was thoroughly entertained by this love story about two athletes who must overcome challenges to find their way to each other. The heroine, a no-nonsense physical therapist, was just what this pro skier needed to reclaim his independence and his life.

This book was way better than I expected. I started and didn’t want to put it down. So glad it didn’t take the main character long to get it right!

I have enjoyed this book I love ❤️ these beautiful characters the narrators were excellent the author wrote beautiful love scenes and the story line was excellent thank you so much 💕💕💞💞💞💖

It was a good story I wish there was an epilogue so you can know a little of what else happened but it was okay

They both faced obstacles in life

This was an enjoyable read about people's obstacles in life. Beaumont Hill had an uphill battle after he broke his back under suspicious circumstances. Shayna DaCosta as a physical therapist, related to her patients for personal reasons. She too had to battle back from the brink of an injury. When Beau became her patient, she could relate to him, and they both became attracted to each other which complicated things in more ways than just ethical as Shayna was not openly communicative about things in her personal life and also things in relationship with her brother.

I only had one problem with this story and that was the names of the female leads. Their names were just too close in sound and were a little confusing in trying to relate to who was who. Even though the names of Shayna and Shonda are different, they are enough alike to make the reader blink a couple of times to figure out whom the author was writing about.

Incompatible Narration

This story would be so much better if the narrator matched the story; it sounded like something reading a fairytale to a child rather than each character having a believable voice. Poor narration messed up the story. In the future, please use narrators that bring the story to life.

Skiing for life

I enjoyed the storyline. It was great to see justice served and true love as a side bonus.

I always enjoy a good romance and this didn't disappoint. The story was engaging and the performance was very good.

The narrator wasn’t a good fit for the story and the story line was just ok. Not so horrible I didn’t finish but not good enough to share with anyone.

This was my first time reading anything by this author. I am now a fan. Great story!
