And the story just keeps getting better w/book 2

What a great way to spend a long boring 4 hour drive home from Boston today! Once again, Mr. Bates takes us back to "Heaven's Ballroom", got to say I sure wish there was a "Heavens Ballroom" when I was a young adult! His character development and inter workings between all of the individuals was so well written. It made me feel like I was right there in the story along with Nathan & Damon. I really like when the Omegas are sassy, head strong and know what they want and need. Especially when they can say no and mean it with conviction! Boy I would to have seen Nathan's face when Damon said no more than on one occasion. Mr. Bates has a way of making you realize that these people could be your friends, neighbors or co-workers. As for the narration by Mr. Van Doren, it was truly an enjoyable listening experience. I have now read/listened to books # 1 & 2. And I will be getting books 3,4 & 5 ASAP. You will not be disappointed if you down load either the "E" book or the Audible book. Both are a wonderful reading/listening experience. An avid reader/listener in Rock Tavern, NY.

Damon Gets His Story

Damon is so sweet and hard working, but also a very tough omega. Between dancing at Heaven's Ballroom and his class schedule and NYU he is constantly on the move. No time for dating and no desire for it either. Cocky Alpha's he's had enough of, especially after his last boyfriend stole his cat and moved across country with him.
Enter Nathan, a gorgeous well built, in all the right places, alpha starts sending him drinks, Damon refuses and sends them back. Nathan then finds out Damon's favorite drink and that one gets sent back as well. Nathan can't believe an omega is telling him no. That's never happened, so of course he has to have Damon now. Nathan puts alot of work into getting Damon's attention and when he has it he spends more time proving to Damon that Nathan is indeed worth that attention.
They get closer than ever and they are beginning to experience deep feeling for each other, maybe even love. Then through a series of misunderstanding on both their parts and so people sticking their noses where they don't belong Damon believes Nathan is ghosting him and Nathan thinks Damon is ducking him. Ugh, it makes you want to smack them both. In the midst of this Damon makes another big mistake and now he's pregnant with Nathan's baby and he loses his scholarship due to one of Nathan's friends butting in.
Nathan gets some good advise and makes his move so now lets see if Damon will go for the best thing that's ever happened to him.
I absolutely love this series.

Good sweet story

I liked this story it was a nice mix of sweet with just a bit of angst to give the story something to keep you interested. Narration is well done.

His Broken Angel is the second book in the Heaven's Ballroom series by Aiden Bates. Sweet story with a touch of miscommunication frustration, humorous moments, steamy interactions and sweet connections.I think Nathan and Damon are great characters and I really liked them together. I also like the hints we get for future stories.

The audiobook is narrated by Stephen Van Doren and is done very well. Smooth and clear voicework and recording. Very enjoyable performance.

Slow burn

I loved listening to this story. I enjoyed that it was the same narrator as the first book. This story was a slow burn and full of angst. It took awhile for the main characters to realize they wanted to be together. But in the end they got their HEA.
Narrator Stephen Van Doren does a wonderful job.

Love

Loved the book. Loved how it showed that he was paying his way through college. I laughed so hard when he showed up with the cat . There where a few times I laughed love books like that.

I have read this series and it is so great to have it brought to life. Damien and Nate are so good together and the narration is beyond great!

It's Damon, not Matt

Wow. what a amazing listen.
I loved the Omega Damon, who seems prone to Murphy's law to the nth degree. His cat has been stolen, phone smash, and his roomie has a stalker. The only decent thing in his life is an Alpha who won't give up on him.

First of all I already knew I would love the story because Aiden Bates wrote it but I really enjoyed the narration. Heaven’s Ballroom is a wonderful series to read and listen to!
