Just as Solid as the Others

Book 3 is just as Solid, if not more so, than the other ones. I love the development and characters. I look forward to more releases!

So much fun, can’t wait for more

This book has a bit more going on than the previous entries, with more world building and plenty of payoff

And now for something completely different….

This is one of the most interesting “adventure” stories I’ve ever read (ok, listened to). 1. Great descriptions of fishing. 2. The writer has somehow turned the classic Lit-rpg elements inside out, with a focus on internal growth and inner change… and the value of living in alignment with the world.
3. Despite that, (really!) it is laugh-out-loud funny. The troupe of animal pals makes this book so much fun.

There are dangers ahead for this series, because the more powerful we know Fisher to be, the more awkward his role becomes. Being a good guy is great and all (and we now know how dangerous corrupted chi can be). But can the joy and the challenges and the growth continue? How many cuddle puddles can one book series manage and still keep its audience engaged?

I hear the force inside me whisper, “Trust,” so I’ll still be here waiting for heretical fishing 4. I’m very much looking forward to it and I hope the series will continue. It’s a really fun read and one much needed in challenging times. Thanks!

Another great addition!

This installment picks up the pace and keeps a good balance between the laid back parts and story progression. A fair amount of connections are made and the series humor is maintained. Anxiously awaiting more of the story and skritches to come. Great destressing story

so relaxing

how can a book with such power, so much action and even death be so chill and relaxing...

okay look

No farmer eats pastries for breakfast everyday (much less fresh take out pastries). None of them. That's ridiculous. Anyone who wakes up early and does physically demanding work all day knows that quality protein is necessary as part of breakfast.

Satisfying Story

I love where the author is taking this story. The plot is honest, the character arcs are sincere, and the pace and prose is quite enjoyable. I can’t wait for the next one!
