Craig Beck is always enjoyable to listen to. I liked this title very much. Will listen to again and perhaps fast forward thru some of the situational examples.

Pretty good...

All in all, this is a pretty good book. It doesn't go into as much detail as I was hoping but I imagine that is partly due to the personalized nature of shamanism. There are a few glaring (to me) technical mistakes, i.e., suggesting that Cooper's Hawks and Red-tailed Hawks are the same species; saying that Psilocybe cubensis contains DMT. That's just sloppy and eyebrow raising.

The narrator's voice is great, but he constantly mispronounces words. This is more than just a difference in dialects (he has a British accent). It is clear that he has no idea what the words are.

Still worth a listen, though. I intend to purchase the paperback as well to use as a reference.

Beautiful book, insightful, moving and in-depth. No matter the level you are in your spiritual journey this book was helpful and interesting! The narration was excellent, which as I am sure many know, can make a difference in how you absorb and listen to a book!

I just love when I come across a book that really captivates me. The narrator and the book was absolutely fascinating. I have been reading metaphysical books for the past 30 years and this is the 1st time I learned to ask from our ancestors in a step-by-step manner.
