Great Performance! Story was short and solid!
The performance was wonderful! The story itself was alright. I liked the presence of Halloween the creature. But I felt as though the resolution of the story came and went a bit too quickly. A solid listen for the Halloween season, however!

Creepy!! Good!!
This is such a good book! I wish it would’ve been longer but it’s definitely worth the time and money and it was actually a little creepy at times 10/10 hands down.

Pretty good, not a masterpiece
This book was pretty good! It definitely wasn’t a masterpiece of a book, but it was overall very entertaining.
The performance was pretty alright too. Every character sounded almost the same, besides Halloween, which made my rating a 4.
Overall, if you have some extra credits you want to burn, this would be a good one.

A Halloween Lottery
I total enjoyed this fun creepy story about a town that supposedly randomly chooses a sacrifice for the Halloween festival. Really enjoyed Barry and especially the narration of his father’s voice. Will listen again around Halloween. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review. Thank you

Fun for Halloween
Short and fun for Halloween. Not really scary but still a good Halloween tale. I like this narrator, but be warned...almost every character other than the main character sounds like an 80 year older man.

Perfect for a Halloween binge
The story and performance were both wonderful. Its a great blend of funny and errie, with an ending that feels like a twist on classic gothic horror. Definitely worth the read.

Fun Halloween story
The narrator did a good job, easy to listen to.

Excellent Halloween Story
I really kept being drawn back to the world C.V. Hunt has created. Every time I put the book down, I was ready to pick it up and continue it again. Worth your time!
