The Book of Hosea is certainly emotional and relational. In the message of Hosea, we see God's Word concerning false religion, spiritual adultery, heartbreak, judgment, the remnant, restoration, and God’s unconditional love. People often talk about how they feel about God. Hosea tells us how God feels and thinks about Israel and sin.

"Go and marry a prostitute." These are the first words God spoke to Hosea. Why would God ask His prophet to go to such extremes? Gomer repeatedly betrays her husband, while Hosea, offers forgiveness and seeks to win her back. With this bold and uncomfortable imagery, Hosea tells the story of God and His people.
