I just enjoyed this book because Guy Martin is an above average rider that didnt get all caught up in the rockstar attitude and sponsership driven interviews that we always see. He says it like it is, doesnt want fame and is a delight to listen to. By speaking like an average joe, the fans love watching him do anything. He has gotten famous because he doesnt crave it. Sort of ironic.

Terrific story about being a road racer, told by a lifetime road racer, and the quest to best the Isle of Man. Very well-written. Excellent narration. Really get to know one of the legendary IoM racers, get inside his head and heart, and learn what it’s like to dedicate your life for the pursuit of a passion.
