Great Story

Wonderfully written and read. I enjoyed the worlds, the magic and characters. I would highly recommend.

Nice Introduction to this author

When I first read it I immediately thought of the Inn Keeper books by Ilona Andrews, but this is not it. It may have been inspired or may not have been but these books in my opinion are completely different.
Anywho, Nyx Fortuna was unbeknownst to her made to be the keeper of a waystation, which is similar to a customs agent. She has an assistant that is a bada*s amazon and a Griffon that is forever by her side. In this first book in the series Nyx finds a place to call home and also a little about herself along with a mysterious necklace that she promised to protect. There is plenty of adventure and friends made along the way and a confrontation with the love that abandoned her. I look forward to the next books.

Unexpectedly Well Written Stroy

I wasn't quite sure what to expect of the story, but the author really created a great story base and storyline for the rest of the series. The main character Nix, initially, she was annoying, but she grew to be so much more than I expected. The narrator has a lot to do with making all the characters come alive. Nix really turned out to be a very strong protagonist, embracing the change of her new view on the what is now her life. As much as like Nix, Morgan had me laughing out loud. Totally an easy and enjoyabke story. I am glad I took a chance on it.

I like that the MFC doesn't just get back with EX after he apologized.

Good start to a series

I think it was a very good start to a series. There’s lots supremacist like having amnesia and wanting to know your history. Taking in some mysterious powers and having to overcome them, she’s a character with good strength of Will. You definitely feel for the character. I like her. Says a love interest, of course. I think there’s room for her to grow with skills and abilities.

Great listen

Really enjoyed the plot and character development. The story took a much more interesting direction than anticipated.

A plane station on earth from outer space

The idea and storyline was fresh and held your interest throughout the story with enough future to make a series out of it. The heroine and her group of people who got bigger and bigger can easily create bonds to what deeper friendships can go. And the adventures are endless for all of them. Thank you
