Great performance, sound effects, and story
My son loves construction vehicles, he can name all of them, even both names for the ones that have 2. We've checked out this book from the library before, my son is 2 and I thought the book would be a little long, but it held his attention. The pictures are great and he loves to examine them.
As far as this audio book goes, I love it! it feels like you're listening to a movie or TV show. I love the sound effects, make it feel like you're at a (more quiet) construction site. The reader does a great performance, changes his tone of voice and paused at the right places ect. I will be looking for more audio books like this

The narrator is basically yelling the whole time.
Not a chance this could help my child sleep... he's now imitating the narrator and shouting.

Love the story but too animated for bed time
The narrator has a great voice but the reading (and music) was a bit too lively for our preferred bedtime pacing. Wonderful story and talented voice actor though.
