Fantastic story

Disliked ALL the characters!!!

I've never read/listened to a book where I've disliked all the characters. Not one of them had any morals, sense of loyalty, or compassion - no redeeming qualities. However, the book is so well written. It draws you in and delivers shock after shock of such unbelievable story telling. I couldn't stop listening.

too many different stories I got lost in the many flashbacks so I'm not sure if I'll read book 2

All over the place

Great storyline if you can follow it. There are too many timeline transitions . This is more of a screenwriter script then novel.

Action packed

I Loved this book. It did not disappoint me. It was action packed from beginning to end.

Very Dark!!!

A thriller that blends violence, detectives, cold-blooded kills, money, drugs and sex. The narrator keeps us engaged with emotions high, right from the beginning to the end. A real page-turner that will keep you on the edge of your seat. I am listening to book 2 next...Can't wait!

Good book

Money, violence and crime are always going to give you some excitement to hold onto. This was a good read, with lots of twists and turns and circumstances connecting parties that make it hard to guess what they will do next. The characters were written so believably, if I didn't know they were fake, I would have thought these characters were narrating their own deadly deeds. Good book. I just found out this was book 3 in the series. I guess I need to go back and read the rest when I have time.

I love this book. The narration was the best. Kept me interested and excited at the same time.

Not the worst

The flow of the story was all over the place and I could barely keep up with the characters and the flashbacks. But I got thru it. Couldn’t truly tell who was the main characters at first but it became more clear in the end.

This was an amazing book. L. Steven Taylor have a great performance acting out the voices of each character. I love how the Author SLMN went back and forth to the past and future, it was a little confusing but it gave great details on how each character is connected. Can’t wait to hear the next also I mos def will but the hard copy.
