One of the most important aspects of learning a language with stories is to enjoy the delivery of the narrator. His voice is relaxed and easy to follow along. I picked up countless new words and phrases from these short stories.

Quite Engaging German Short Stories

German has always been a challenge for me. When I purchased this audiobook it was on whim due to boredom. The pandemic has caused me to fill my time with more learning activities, like German! I'm really glad I did. Delightfully, the stories were not overwhelming and the list of vocab at the end helped reinforce my understanding. The narrator's animated storytelling abilities kept me engaged throughout each story.

I can't stress enough how wonderful the narrator is! Very professionally done. He's was great in the other audiobooks I've listened to and this one is no different! Clear, concise German and great for beginners. Tons of vocab and easy to understand

I used to be decent at German many years ago, but have since forgotten most of it. So I decided to test my memory with this audiobook. Insdie you'll find it is filled with lots of vocabulary and phrases. I got bored of traditional learning so I looked for an alternative way to learn German.

Unique and creative German stories. There's a list of vocab, summaries, and comprehension questions in English and German. Lots of vocab and the narrator was great! The companion document allowed me to follow along as I listened.

Short stories with a lot of German

The narrator makes these stories very enjoyable. I was afraid that I wouldn't have anything to do during the pandemic. I was certainly wrong as the allowed me to work on my goal to learn German. 20 Engaging stories at an easy-to-follow pace. It helped having a list of vocab words at the end along with a summary both in English and German. Not to mention the clever comprehension questions ensured I grasped what I was hearing.

I find it hard to find good listening material at my comprehension level in German. This book is perfect...I don't understand a significant part of the dialog, but enough to get an accurate idea of what's going on. The stories are just long enough that I can hold my attention throughout, yet not so long that I lose interest. I work full time and am learning German as a hobby. With a family and work, I can only devote an hour or so a day to German, but this book is invaluable in helping me maximize my learning. I wish there were 10 volumes like this!! Thank You for publishing and making it available.
