A great way to step up your Russian

If you're looking for a way to learn some Russian or rekindle your love for the language then get this audiobook. It's best listened to with the pdf companion document. Their other short stories books are also a neat way to liven up the approach to learning. Russian is by no means an easy language to master, however with material like this making it easy to learn, I'm no longer overwhelmed.

Good Russian Book

There is a marked lack of good Russian language material on Audible compared to some other languages, so I was very happy to see this one come available. I was given a code for this in exchange for an honest review, and I have to say I have no complaints. It covered a variety of subjects, the narrator's Russian was clearly understandable, and she doesn't speak too quickly which can be a problem for learners like me. I can definitely recommend this one and look forward to more Russian books from Touri!

Improved my comprehension and vocab base

Nice, easy to follow dialogues in Russian & English. This has been very helpful improving my Russian abilities. My strategy is simple, I listen to each story twice in Russian, repeat what I heard and then double check my comprehension with the English dialogue as well. Seems to work so far!

Educational, engaging and super helpful!

Clear and precise pronunciation. Although I found these stories geared much more for beginners it was nice to have some Russian conversation playing in the background. Tons of conversational dialogues that I can definitely see being applicable to any who may not know how to interact in some situations. Great to brush up on your Russian skills or dip your toe in the water for the first time.

Boosted my Russian comprehension

All it took was a little patience, practice, reading the companion document and listening to this audiobook.. my comprehension I can now say has improved immensely

Enjoyed the listening to this Russian audiobook

I was shocked at how much I really did pick up just listening to the Russian. Although I wasn't able to understand every word at first, I want to thank the narrator for taking an otherwise boring educational task and making it fun!

Neat way to learn a language

For my trip to overseas I wanted to be prepared. When traveling there are always things that happen unexpectedly and I didn't want to find myself stuck in a situation where there was a communication barrier. I was able to get by with some of these phrases and all was well.
