Helpful in brushing up

I have to admit, this a lot for a language learning program. It gets a bit overwhelming at times to learn two languages at once and I wouldn’t recommend listening to this for more than 20 minutes at a time.

That said, in small doses this program was extremely helpful in brushing up my Spanish and learning Italian. The spoken examples are usually pretty clear and the pace is steady but reasonable.

If you have never learned any Spanish or Italian before, I would try a different audiobook by Mark Frobose to get your feet wet first before trying this one. However, if you know a bit of either language, give this book a shot. It’s fun and challenging!

Thinking in 3 languages at once is a rush!

With this unique audiobook you actually expand your consciousness to be able to think in three different languages at the same time. This program really exercises your brain and leaves you with what can be described as a "brain rush." To explain, I was already bilingual, speaking both English and Spanish fluently. Interestingly according to scientists studying the brain, being bilingual has many positive medical benefits, including protecting the brain from dementia and Alzheimer's. Can yiu imagine the positive benefits of being trilingual?

I had a friend who was studying to become a professional interpreter in two foreign languages (Spanish & French). I remember him complaining that every time he tried to say something in the second foreign language (French), only Spanish came out. He apparently had a "bilingual barrier." This audiobook helps you get past the bilingual barrier and actually become trilingual. What a rush!

Excellent program. A must buy.

Any additional comments?

I already speak and understand Spanish and have always wanted to learn Italian. Thanks to the similarity of both languages, I thought I could learn Italian on my own without a program, but I got stuch.
Then I bought From Spanish to Italian expecting to pick up a few useful phrases and maybe get me started on the road to speaking Italian.
What I got from this program was far greater than that.
The easy "from Spanish to Italian" structure of this program immediately familiarized me with the differences and similarities between the Spanish and Italian language using a clear "comparison approach".
First you hear the English, then Spanish, then Italian twice.
I can't believe I'm saying this but .... I now speak Italian almost as well as I do Spanish thanks to this great program.
I did through listening, repeating, recalling by using this simple imitation method which builds on what you know in Spanish and bridges the gap between Spanish and Italian.
Excellent program. A must buy.

Quick results

It’s amazing that after just a first few lessons I was able to show off a few phrases to my Italian friends. I like that the phrases are taught by a native speaker. My friends told me my pronunciation is pretty good!
