All of that was killing me. On the other hand, I thought it might be working, so I was going to do it. No matter what.

Great Conclusion to this Series!

Let me start of by stating Rosalind James writes terrific books and Emma Wilder is a fantastic narrator.
While at first glance this 3-book series might seem to be rip-off of another famous first person, rich guy-poor girl, hot sex, bad ex (etc) trilogy, please be assured that it's not. These are complex, interesting but flawed, real characters. They have a complex relationship, just like real life, and solving their issues doesn't come easy - they both have to work hard to get what they want. Sure you might want to shake them to their senses now and again, but you won't be rolling your eyes anywhere in this series.
And it sure does come to a gratifying conclusion, even with some twists and turns along the way.
And for some reason, it seemed like the narrator was at her best for this one - I really sunk into the story and felt the emotions of the characters deeper than when I read the Kindle book. Weird, I know, but hearing the voices evokes more feeling for me.
Highly recommend all three audiobooks to be heard in series!

LOVED THIS SERIES!!

All 3 books are very good reads but # 3 was stellar. The story definitely keeps your attention. Explicit parts are a bit much at times but can be skipped over. Loved learning about the Maori culture, as well. Narrator outstanding. Well done!

Great finale for the trilogy!

I really enjoyed this trilogy, as I enjoy all of Rosalind James' books; Hope and Hemi's story has a satisfying conclusion, and the personal growth that each experiences through the course of the series is fascinating - there is such a change from the first book to this third book, and it feels true. The family element and involvement is very present, and also is very important in the formation of the character's evolutions.

If you read the first 2 then you need to read this one, and it is just as good as the others even better actually and it wraps up nicely

and you will want to find out how Hemi finally gets rid of his conniving greedy ex wife

It was enjoyable going back to visit a part of my home land I have been to many times

If you want a good read I recommend this author as I have really enjoyed all of her work so far

Best Book of the Series

“Found” is the third book of the Not Quite a Billionaire series by Rosalind James. It is the continuing story of Hemi Te Mana and Hope Sinclair. Hemi is a native New Zealander of Maori descent. Hemi has created an extremely successful business. He is handsome, confident, and controlling.

Hope Sinclair is (eventually) his employee. She is poor, unsure of herself and attempting to raise her young teenaged sister. Life holds tremendous struggles for her on a daily basis.

This series is Hemi and Hope’s love story, their struggles to find common ground, and their tremendous love and respect for each other.

This third entry in the series was my favorite. Hope finds her voice and her strength. Hemi learns that he doesn’t always have to be in control, and makes every attempt to change. It’s not just about the love between these two characters but also their tremendous respect for each other.

In my opinion, “Found,” is the best book of the series. This book is done very successfully. It is a very pleasing completion to the trilogy. Rosalind’s books always have very fulfilling and pleasing endings. This series is no different.

As always, Rosalind’s books are well written and unique. The narration by Emma Wilder is outstanding. She has a wonderful way with the different voices, keeping each character distinctly different.

What made the experience of listening to Found the most enjoyable?

This is a story of redemption and two fierce souls becoming bound together through more than just romance and love, but through hardships and strengths, personal sacrifice, and courage. The spirit of their relationship is something so beautiful and rare - and these two people achieve something so sacred and precious throughout their journey together. I will let you discover this for yourself.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Found?

One of my favorite scenes is near the end of the story - which I won't give away, but let's just say we get to see how FIERCE Hope can be - and she truly comes into her own identity. Never a wilting flower in the face of conflict, she learns how to take ownership and becomes a really courageous, take-charge, unstoppable woman. GO HOPE! I really came to admire her.

Have you listened to any of Emma Wilder’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I love this new narrator. Emma does a fantastic job with all the different kiwi accents, and characters - both male -and female, young and older- and distinguishes the characters enough so you can tell easily enough which one is talking. She does a great job going back and forth between the voices and keeps you hooked and adds so many layers of personality through her voice. Her expression of the full emotional range is beautiful!
I heard her previous book Fractured, and this performance for Found was better in my opinion. More polished, more easy transitions between characters and just more solid. I really enjoyed her work (as well as Ms.James writing!)

YES! There is fantastic tension and suspense. This was one book I really dug into.

This is the 3rd installment of Hope and Hemi's story and is NOT a stand alone book. (The first book in the series was referenced in Rosalind James' recent book "Just in Time" in her Escape to New Zealand series. She introduced Hope and Hemi, who meet at a photoshoot for one of Hemi's company product lines. Hope was the assistant to the photographer, and had an immediate attraction to the polite Maori clothing designer from New Zealand. This story is the continuation of the story after the end of book 2, "Fractured", when Hope has just found out she is pregnant and has decided to 'run away' - and go to New Zealand to take a break from her and Hemi's relationship with Hemi's grandfather Koru..

When Hope ran to New Zealand she discovered for herself the true meaning of family and loyalty, I believe she gained a new respect for Hemi through learning about his roots and his history.

We actually see lots of Hemi's baggage and backstory, which I had really wanted to learn about. I find him to be one of Ms. James' most sophisticated and interesting characters of all of her books. He is fascinating, and I'm enjoying discovering how perfect for each other Hope and Hemi are through his misadventures and mistakes. She's his equal and sometimes (usually) forces him to see himself in the mirror.

In terms of steaminess, this book is HOT! And edgy… and steamy! But not inappropriately so - or over the top. Ms. James keeps it all in the tasteful context of the plot and the integrity of the story.

A moment in the book that particularly moved me - there are so many to choose from. I think one of the turning points in the book was when Hemi realized the impact Hope had made on him - beyond loving him, and being a support mate. She is the other half of his soul. He realized he did not have to be alone anymore. It was a HUGE aha! Moment for him.

...like sitting in the corner eavesdropping...

I’ll start off by saying I purchased this book in kindle format and I may have *ahem* read it a time… or two…or three? while waiting for the audio to come out.

Once again, (also true for the preceding book in this series, Fractured) listening to this audiobook is more than just having a story read to me. It’s like I’m actually sitting in the corner eavesdropping on the conversations, Emma Wilder is THAT good!

While this book does have a HEA, it’s not a fairy-tale getting there. Ms James inserts genuine day to day normal life conflict into the character’s relationships and then has them work through those issues. This makes for a compelling, relatable story.

If a little bit “hot & steamy” isn’t to your liking I can still recommend these books (you can easily fastforward) the STORY is worth it!

Satisfying conclusion

I was quite satisfied overall with the third book Found in the Not Quite a Billionaire series and would heartily recommend it. For me the concluding book in a series should move quickly because you need to find out how everything turns out, or it isn't much of a series to begin with. Found measured up admirably to this standard and did move quickly. I was very satisfied with how the characters interacted with each other and grew and there was real substantive resolutions. I loved how none of the characters became lesser versions of themselves in order to make it work, and this was done quite realistically. Another thing that especially came through for me in this audiobook is that while in a lot of ways (in both personality and her particular circumstances) I am very different than Hope, she came across as someone that could be identified with in the things that matter most and that is a credit to the story telling of the author and the development of the characters. I also found Hemi to be a great love interest and one that effectively evolved. Hemi and Hope are great together.

I am also excited that there will be a Karen book. She has some great lines in this series, and is quite effectively the younger sister going through some growing pains, but I think she would be a fantastic protagonist when she is older and I am looking forward to finding out what kind of man can keep up with her and also measure up for the family.

I thoroughly enjoy narrator Emma Wilder's reading and hope to listen to more books narrated by her. I think this series would be particularly challenging because it switches pov from female to male and back again, and Wilder does an outstanding job.

The perfect ending!

Once again in beautiful, familiar New Zealand as Hemi and Hope traverse all the pitfalls of their relationship. Emma Wilder brings the story to life with her amazing narration. Such a refreshing romance that does have an HEA, but with such realism and depth that hauls you along because you HAVE to see what is going to happen next. Ms. James deepens our view of Hemi's whanau, his life and relationships with Koro, and Karen, Matiu, and Tane. Hemi and Hope both mature and become their best ever. And I have to mention the Paris show and how awesome it was, not just the models and theme, but Hope's vindication.
Emma Wilder is amazing, bringing each character to life. Her inflections perfectly reflect the emotions in every situation, no matter what they are. I fell in love with these characters all over again and was sorry when the story ended. 5 stars Ms. James and Ms. WIlder.

Found is the final story in the three part "Not Quite A Billionaire" series of Hope and Hemi's story which started in Fierce and Fractured. This was my favorite of three! We really got to see Hope and Hemi find their way and develop their relationship on a deeper level. They finally found the balance between themselves to really make things work. This story moved quickly and I liked the way the characters interacted with each other and were able to grow. I loved how none of the characters became lesser versions of themselves and that Rosalind was able to make the characters realistic.

I first read Rosalind's Escape to New Zealand series and fell in loved with those characters. I am happy that she brought another story to New Zealand and made me fall in love with these characters also. I am sad that Hemi and Hope story ended but glad that I was able to listen to them again.
