I really like that this story didn’t start from the moment of isekai. Too many books do that and they don’t do it well. It was refreshing to have a person who has been in the world for a while be the protagonist. I almost forgot that this was a LitRPG. It felt more like a cultivation novel with the cult setting. More than a litrpg more political thriller
This isn't just a lit R. P. G, this is also a political thriller. We have a person who's also. I'm trying to get things done for themselves, but at the same time trying to balance that out right with the political pressures and the pressures of not becoming a tyrant themselves as well as what everybody else wants. Without being traded into some pretty dark stuff, so if you like political forevers, this is the book for you
