Just as good as Book 1

I have looked forward to this book since finishing the last one. Downloaded it on day one and was not disappointed. The perfect mix of humor, intrigue, and good-heartedness makes it a lovely, relaxing read/listen. Findlay Donovan remains one of my most recommended series.

Finlay and Vero never disappoint! I enjoyed the latest installment of their adventures, and Mrs. Haggerty was a great addition to the line-up.

I love this series. Like the others this book too had me laughing out loud. Great story and characters.

Ms Elle and Ms Dawe are in the Groove

Ms Dawe is the best narrator and l own over 140 of her reads. Her narration on this series is what sets it apart from other rom-com series.
If you have not started this series, you are missing lots of good clean fun from a writer who is not trying to balance social injustice but is just trying to write to entertain. Think author Jennifer Crusie when she first hit the big time. Unlike some of my favorite authors who take over a year to produce a good book, Ms Elle is taking her fan base seriously and unlike our heroine, keeps her nose to the grindstone to produce a good entertaining adventure for us to enjoy fairly quickly. These are rom-com mysteries based on two hilarious women who have formed a friendship based on duplicitous actions.
On the members only sale, I pre-ordered these types of books, so they are a great spend for fun entertainment.
The author starts a new adventure based on some of the antics from the previous books. THIS STORY IS NO EXCEPTION. So if like me, you don’t follow a series from book one, you can enjoy this book and then go back and buy all the rest as I did. I personally started on sale book 2, and quite frankly like reviewer Shelly.always recommends that you to start at book one, you can start a new series based on her recommendations. However for me, if one of the books in the series is on sale, I try it. Then l can choose to go back and buy them all if they suit me. I hope you get heaps of laughs out of this book as l did.

Please release book 6 ASAP

I love these characters and NEVER WANT THE SERIES TO END. It came out yesterday and now I need to wait an entire YEAR for book 6. Sigh, alas. This book was fun, lower stakes, but also high stakes at the same time. Mrs. Haggerty is a HOOT. I spent the entire book swinging between annoyance and surprise at her audacity. I HIGHLY recommend this series if you like light hearted thrillers with recurring characters!

Silly fun

The book is silly and fun, same as the others in the series. An easy listen to, and I look forward to the next one.
