Well, everyone finds out your secret, you get banished from society, and then you learn.

Captivating!
Delicious, quick and easy listen! I loved the narrator’s and endless banter. The characters were enjoyable and I can’t wait for the next installment.

cliffhanger!
I need to learn to not listen to the first book in a series when none of the others in the series have been released yet!
this book is well written with a good story and decent narrator. I can't wait for the next one!

Yes ma’am!
Okay, yes I loved this book! Really hoping there will be a second?! Because, hello?! What is happening next? Leaving us hanging!
The story has a nice new age twist on the “fae” that is a refreshing take from the traditional narrative.
The writing was great and I did enjoy the audio performance. The only thing I would change about this is having the male narrator speak throughout the book, rather than just at the end.

simply compelling
the title honestly had me skeptical but oh my gosh I fell in love with this book and finished it within 2 days. I am only upset that I now have to wait for the second one.

So good
I loved the slow burn and even though it was really slow the story was so good I barely noticed. The build up was fantastic. It does end on a cliff hanger. Book 2, where are you?

Slow Burn with a Cliffhanger
I was hoping for the instant "I love this book" like I did with FRV it wasn’t but the more I listened the more it grew on me. Not sure what I think about Cate but I’m loving Lachlan and the other characters. If you’re expecting the hot and heavy to take place fast then you will be disappointed but the build up isn’t bad. Of course it ends in a cliffhanger just like FRV did and of I’m absolutely waiting for the next book to be released

Can’t wait for the next one!
It was a slow start. But I loved how we got hints to answers at the end. I wish I knew more about Cate and Gage but especially Cate. More about her appearance and past. But over all I loved it! Great book and great characters. Definitely recommend to any book lovers. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
