In the beginning, as a teenager, God helped Tammy deal with the trials in her life through poetry. Although she knew it was a God-given gift, she was still not ready to surrender her life to Christ. Years later, after making that decision, her writing took a new path. Tammy still uses poetry to handle the trials in her life, but now she uses it to glorify God and as her ministry.
