Acerca de esta escucha

From the author of Everything We Keep comes the final novel in the Amazon Charts and Wall Street Journal bestselling Everything Series. Brimming with suspense, mystery, and romance, Everything We Give brings to a powerful close the gripping series of love, lies, and the secrets families keep.

Award-winning photographer Ian Collins made only one mistake in life, but it cost his mother her freedom and destroyed their family, leaving Ian to practically raise himself. For years he’s been estranged from his father, and his mother has lived off the grid. For just as long, he has searched for her.

Now, Ian seemingly has it all - national recognition for his photographs; his loving wife, Aimee; and their adoring daughter, Caty. Only two things elude him: a feature in National Geographic and finding his mother. When the prized magazine offers him his dream project on the same day that Aimee’s ex-fiancé, James, returns bearing a message for Ian but putting a strain on his marriage, Ian must make a choice: chase after a coveted assignment or reconnect with a mysterious woman who might hold the key to putting his past to rest. But the stakes are high, because Ian could lose the one thing he holds most dear: his family.

powerful insight into mental illness and how it used to be hidden and ignored along with how it affects the people around it

great finish

I did not like the woman reading Amy’s part….obnoxious! But liked the going back & forth from Ian to Amy’s point of view!
Great closure to the Amy/James saga!

The back story of Ian but also the twist about the step sister as well as the shooting of Francis!

The story was okay. Just wanted to finish the trilogy. Really had trouble listening to Amy Landon. Her voice sounded like a 70 year old socialite. Will make sure to look who’s narrating before buying books from now on. Andrew did a great job as Ian.

Female narrator made it hard to listen.

First, I’m not even finished listening to the book and I’m stopping midway because of the woman who narrates “Aimee” Amy Landon. i have actually skipped every chapter she speaks in because it’s nearly impossible to listen to her HORRIBLE narration!! She literally CANNOT handle a male voice! She “grrroooaaans”! all in monotone, deep, moaning sounds! I’m NOT exaggerating! I’m going back to the Kindle book to read her chapters..it’s PAINFUL to listen & I really don’t understand who picks these narrators! The voice of “Ian” is fine, Andrew Eiden, but because of her awful voice I’m completely distracted from the book and that’s not why I listen..

To the author Kerry Lonsdale, ‘Everything We Give’ so far was a nice story but not as great as stories 1 and 2 which is really disheartening...sorry but I’m not the only one who has reviewed with the same issue. When a narrator ruins a story it’s sad...I will recommend the book to read but not listen to at all.

Please!! Why do some narrators SUCK‼️

I loved this book. The best one in the series. The female narrator was so incredibly horrid I can’t believe she still gets work. I had to stop listening and switch to reading when she came on. I will not buy any audio book if she’s the narrator. The male narrator was great and the book itself was so good.

The female narrator is absolutely horrid

This was my least favorite book of the Everything series. Ian was a great character, but his story really seemed to drag and it took a lot to keep me focused on it.

Just okay

This book deals with the issue of mental illness with deep feeling and thoughtfulness. I highly recommend this book and this author.

Touching, charming

I LOVED the first book in this series, and enjoyed the second. I felt they tied together nicely and had an interesting story. This book felt forced and the writing felt expository. I finished the other two books in just under a week, and this one took me a month as I had to force myself to listen to it.

Disappointing after the first two books.

I’d like to praise this book and series with feint damn, to reverse the old cliche. This story and it’s two predecessors are good, but a tad too complicated at times. It forces Lonsdale to have the characters kind of stop what they’re doing in order to give the reader a sometimes lengthy explanation. It’s almost as though they move back and forth from character to narrator. If you get by that and one other minor flaw you’ll probably enjoy this book and it’s sister volumes. That other minor flaw is the sometimes too breathy, dramatic narration and the occasional awkwardly used or mispronounced word. (Ask-ance instead of uh-scance when “a side long glance” would have worked better.)

The third book is a charm, if a bit too complex.

Really good story but the voice of Amy is just horrible, like a robot stuck on slow. The male voice is beautiful, I continued for the story and his parts.

Great story
