Everyday Spanish for Beginners

Like more on intermediate level, somewhat more specific in Spanish sentence construction. For beginners good.

Be prepared!!

Be prepared! They say the word twice say it in a phrase twice. If you are not ready with a notebook and have some understanding of how to spell in Spanish to write it down then you may have some difficulty. It doesn’t give you much of a chance to practice. I have had 5 years of Spanish in school but my conversational Spanish isn’t strong living at the border. This book gives you some good phrases but you need to be able to have an understanding of fast spoken Spanish. There were some words I couldn’t understand without having to press the 30 second back button about 4 times because they said it to fast. Overall decent. But be ready go pause or just listen and try to practice, but they don’t give you much time to practice phrases yourself either.

The audio is great, but there doesn't appear to be any written Spanish for me to follow

It is great. it's included a larger collection too

It is very practical and useful. Not redundant like a lot of the Spanish fare here. The only thing to note is that this same book is included in a larger book that is a 3 in 1, called Learn Spanish for Everyday Life, so you might want to buy that instead. I didnt know and accidentally night this twice per se, but it was cheap enough that I keep it just because it's easier to locate than buried in the 3 in 1 book.

Great Book

Very practical for everyday use. Good content and the tempo is really good also. Easy to recommend.

Good enough

While this audio book did indeed include everyday Spanish for beginners, it could have been delivered in a more engaging way. Nonetheless, I like that the speakers for the Spanish and English are different.

just listening alone didn't help me retain the inf

it is good material but the method the author chose to present it was not helpful for retention.

The Spanish-speaking narration here is the worst I've heard. Entirely monotonous and boring, as if they made her do it. Better look elsewhere.

Not worth it

The native speakers speak so fast that it’s impossible for a beginner to hear the words. Very frustrating to listen to
