I loved this listen so much!! Until the ending...
Any additional comments?
I listened to book one in this series and could not wait for the second installment. I was so giddy when I saw that it was available for download today.
The story picks up right where book one leaves off. There is a special romance brewing between the two leads, Fallyn and Vince, and in my opinion, you need to listen to book one to get the full joy of their relationship coming together in book two. I. Loved. It.
How they got together and what they meant to each other was so well-written that I found myself holding my breath when I thought something bad was about to happen.
The narrator was able to take the story to an even higher level! She delivered on the nuance that was the blending of these two kindred spirits (hard to do) while at the same time narrating a houseful of erstwhile gangsters (even harder to do.)
This really was a great listen!
And then you get to the last five minutes. I listened to the ending while pacing in my room, hardly able to contain the big bag of crazy that was coming.
I won't give it away but if the audible universe would be so kind, I would love book three already. Don't leave me like this.

oh.my.god!
I did not expect that plot twist to happen, even though it's a big trope in k-dramas! I love this story and can't wait to listen to the 3rd and final installment!

Still confused
Okay do I love the story and characters. But... I felt like Vince and Fal's love affair went too fast.... then that ending.... what the whattt?!
