Excerpts from Whirwind

I was disappointed with this audio book only because it appeared to only contain excerpts from Clavell's Whirlwind instead of an additional story. It was more of a summary of each party's escape from Iran, which was the story of Whirwind. I had just listened to Whirlwind, so it was like a rerun.

Save the money. Whirlwind just through the eyes of less people.

Basically a rewrite of the previous book…

This book is basically a rewrite of the last book with a few more details. It was a great disappointment. I felt it was just a grab for more profit and gave very little as a new book!

Just whirlwind

excellent narrative but it seems that you heard the story before? Yes, Whirlwind the last novel. Nothing new but a good listen

Not that great

This book was a bit boring and really dragged in a lot of spots. Sad because I've read all the other books in this series. It has no real connection to the other books and it really drags and gets repetitive.

Repeat of part of Book 6.

Listen to book 6 and do not waste time and money on this book. Greatly disappointed.

Disappointment

I should have paid attention to other reviews. This is simply a word by word repeat of Whirlwind. What a cheat.

Don't buy this.

if you've listened to Whirlwind, you've listened to this... like word for word in many places.

Escape is basically just taking the love plot from Whirlwind and reprinting it with a new title.
