Envy

loved reading this book, but the way the story and characters were brought to life was fantastic

One of my favorite series

In Envy we meet Evan, one of the Deadly Seven, a family of genetically modified human protectors of Cardinal City who can each sense one of the seven deadly sins. Evan blames himself for failing his family and his city 2 years ago, leaving Cardinal City without their protectors.

Dr. Grace Go lost her parents in the bombing that the Deadly Seven were accused of causing. However Grace knows the truth, she saw the person who was responsible.

Evan and Grace’s worlds collide as they both search for the truth of what happened in the past and discover if they can have a future together.

This book had such a unique story line that I was drawn right into. Evan struggles to both find his path again and redeem himself in both his own eyes and his family’s. This is a wonderful fated mate story and I love this book and the whole series. Karen White does an amazing job bring this story to life.

Story is great! Performance was ok

The story was absolutely fantastic! The reading wasn’t very good but the voices were done really well. Highly recommend the book though!

Grace sometimes grates on my nerves

Liked the story overall, but Grace and her stance on things sometimes annoys the hell out of me

I have read the series in ebook, but love love love the audio great choice on narator does an amazing job adding life to a fabulous story!!

Fabulous Audio of a Fantastic Book

I'm not always a fan of the audio versions of my favorite books, but this did not disappoint!

Envy is a fantastic story. It has everything you need in a great SciFi epic. Genetic engineering, super humans, super powers, excitement, intrigue... but more important than the super human aspect is the humanizing of these extraordinary beings.

The story is amazing. The characters are endearing and believable. The setting is gritty and fantastic.

Do yourself a favor, get sucked into the world of the Deadly Seven!

ENVY LEVELS ARE EXTREME!!! so good

I had been eyeballing this book for a year now just for the cover. Then I read the synopsis and I'm sold. So I take a chance and I buy this book and I'm in love. I love the concept of seven superheroes each with their own sin that they are responsible for and they are drawn to that particularly sin in the city. I particularly loved Envy because he was completely tortured by his sin and a situation that happens previously with his brother, Wrath and his fianceé. Their mother tells them there there is one perfect person that is their other half, that completes them. That person quiets the noise of their sin because they are their exact opposite. So, Envy meets Dr. Grace Go, who despite all of her losses, feels no envy. She is looking for proof of what happened when her parents were killed and others were made homeless so that insurance would help pay and help with medical bills for everyone. She saw The Deadly Seven there but when though they're being blamed for it…. She knows it wasn't them but someone connected to them. Envy and Grace work together to find the truth and they fall in love. But one other thing happens… Envy's power has strengthened because he now has his other half. Such a good story. Mystery, adventure, family drama and passion. Loved it.

Wow just wow!!

So, I read the synopsis and thought ok let’s give it a try. I am so glad I did. In the first chapter I was hooked. Fast paced, and really a different take on the sins. I am so glad that I gave this a try and can’t wait to download greed. I do recommend getting on amazon and downloading the prequel sinner and read it right now it’s free.

Meh

It was a little corny at times. I think it’s for young adults or teenagers maybe. It’s OK to fill the silence barely. I can’t believe she is actually trying to make a series.
