Historical interwoven storytelling.
Characters developed well. Humorous sideline anecdotes. No negative opinion. Not a good time to be in the military. Survival not good.

Loved it.
Took a little bit to get into it but once I did, it caught on. Yes, it’s a bit over the top but I like that about it. I really enjoyed it and David Thorpe is in my top three narrators. He does a great job on all of the characters and leads you into the story in a believable way.

Tried to finish
Narration was good, the story was ridiculous. I tried to finish but it became too goofy and distracting.

This book is junk
This book is junk, the story line makes no logical sense. The hero's actions are once taken by no rashenal person.
