Why the background music?

The story was good enough, but what was with the constant background music? I found it unnecessary and distracting. This is not a movie.

The description of Link's metamorphosis into Linkubus or an incubus.

Which scene was your favorite?

Getting an up close look at a day in the life of Link, including subpar biscuits and white gravy. Oh, no, not white gravy!

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When Link's mom drags him to see the doctor and have Link tested for steroid abuse. Especially when a parent thinks their child has been doing something wrong and/or not healthy.

Any additional comments?

The sound track was perfect for the atmosphere of this book.

Great immersive experience

I haven't listened to these Beautiful Creatures stories before. I wasn't sure about the narrator at the start but I really liked the background music and effects from the Booktrack.

I have a soft spot for Link

Link is probably my favorite character so him having his own novella was a nice treat.

The story was more alive with the sound from....

I enjoy the these stories, Gatlin is a perfect setting. The ambient background effects from booktrack helped the story pop.

Loved this version with the soundtrack to go along with the narration. Sounded amazing and sets the mood and tone of the story much more deeply.
