Best book yet

I have been reading the Shadowhunter World Series for years I could not have possibly been more impressed with this book I cannot wait for the next installment I'm sure that Audible and Cassandra Clare hear this often but these books are the best I've ever read I cannot wait to see what comes next I hope Cassandra Clare never stops writing and I hope this narrator reads many more books

I was transported to London with the Herondales! Loved Cordelia and James love story! Amazing!

A little predictable

I originally fell in love with the The Infernal Devices series, before I heard any other books by Cassandra Clare. I was slightly disappointed with this book, because it was predictable, in my opinion. I did enjoy the book, the action kept me interested, the character development was intriguing and good. With that said, I will listen to Book Two and I hope it is less predictable.

Get lost

I will always love Cassandra Clare's books. This one did not let me down. I got lost, and I am so happy she has written a new series. I can not wait to hear the next one.

Exhilarating!!

I loved this book from start to finish! It is absolutely everything you could want in a book! My only hitch about this is there were a couple storyline inconsistencies, but overall truly it was brilliant!

Well, as someone addicted to the shadowhunters stories, I can say this new series is a super gift from the author. I can't wait for the continuation ....
But speaking of this book, the story is wonderful. While involving a new generation of shadow hunters, we have old acquaintances filling the tale.
However, this new series has it’s own storyline, which promises of a lot of action and emotion. It is impossible to describe the grandiosity of this series when you are totally involved and addicted to it. I can only say that it is very worthwhile. Audible went the extra mile in making this book. The narration is incredible. You have to listen to the book to understand what I'm trying to explain.Not to mention the cross references to the series Chronicles by Bane and Infernal Devices.

Such a wonderful story! I was glued from the beginning and couldn’t wait to find out what would happen. The details and depth of character interactions never cease to amaze me.

Slow to start, but WORTH IT

I was hesitant at first because it took me a minute to get into it. All of the different people and families were hard to keep track of at first. Oh and the narrators voice is so soothing… I would get distracted and have to go back and focus/pay attention. Once I got familiar, and the story took off, I couldn’t put it down. It’s like Bridgerton meets Game of Thrones with a *dash* of Twilight/Buffy the vampire slayer. Book 2 is downloaded and ready to go!
