Is there one true mate for the last dragon?

I am fascinated with the author's mind in creating this "shiftin" world. Here the shifters of all kind are without females of their kind to continue their species. The wolfin are the police protecting humans and when one true mate shows her as well. In the first book, they called upon the last dragon to help them fight an evil that could claim the world if the good shiftin do not win. However, the effort put the dragon in a coma and he seems to be dying.

As Graham lies in a hospital in his human form, they call upon a reptile specialist to come see him. Unknown to her, she brings him from his coma. Even though he feels the pull from her, she is human and mating with her would be a death sentence for her.

Is there a chance for them? Enjoyed every word. This is the same narrator as the first and he does well with both the male and female parts as well as the Scotish accent. I strongly recommend this one.

This is going to be an awesome series... Love the adventure and steamy romance of each couple. Michael Pauley is a great narrator.

What did you love best about Dragon's Heat?

The narration of this book was much better than the first. I love how the first book plays into the second one. I am looking forward to see how the series plays out with the other creatures and who will be mated next. I am also looking forward to hearing how Ella's pregancy will play into it all.

Improved narration

The story line is terrific. The narrator has calmed some and delivers a performance better than that of book 1. Michael Pauley demonstrates better control and more realistic tone and inflection. With book 1, early on I considered not finishing. I am now looking forward to the next installment of the series. Kudos to Lisa Ladew and well done Michael Pauley.
